TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to LeHawk Bookkeeping Services. By using our website or hiring us, you agree to these terms.

OUR SERVICES

LeHawk Bookkeeping Services provides remote bookkeeping services for small businesses, including monthly bookkeeping, catch-up/cleanup of past books, and related support delivered primarily through QuickBooks Online. The specific scope, timeline, and price of your engagement will be set out in your quote or engagement letter — if anything here conflicts with that document, the engagement letter controls.

IMPORTANT: WHAT WE ARE NOT

We are a bookkeeping service, not a CPA firm. We do not provide tax preparation, tax advice, audits, or legal advice. If your situation needs a CPA, tax professional, or attorney, we will tell you so and are happy to work alongside yours.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CLIENT

- Provide complete and accurate financial records and information on time

- Give us the access we need to do the work (for example, your QuickBooks Online account and bank connections)

- Review your books and let us know promptly about anything that looks wrong

We rely on the information you provide. We are not responsible for errors or omissions in records you give us.

FEES AND PAYMENT

Fees are as quoted in your engagement letter or as listed on our Plans & Pricing page. Monthly plans are billed in advance. One-time projects (such as catch-up work) are billed as agreed before work begins. Invoices are due within 15 days. Late payments may pause services until the balance is current.

CONFIDENTIALITY

We keep your business and financial information confidential and use it only to perform our services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

TERM AND TERMINATION

Monthly engagements continue until either party ends them with at least 15 days' written notice before the next billing date. One-time projects end when the work is delivered. Either party may end an engagement immediately for cause. Our confidentiality obligations survive termination.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our services are provided with professional care, but bookkeeping involves judgment based on the records provided. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of our services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
